Quality, Safety & Standardization

Our Commitment to Research Excellence
At The Health Spore, we recognize that botanical research requires consistent, clean, and highly concentrated samples. Every batch of Trametes versicolor is produced following a strict internal quality protocol.

1. Sourcing & Origin
We prioritize locally sourced, wild-harvested, or sustainably cultivated Irish Trametes versicolor. Every specimen is visually inspected for purity and species accuracy before entering the extraction phase.

2. Sterile Preparation Environment
All extractions and bottling take place in a controlled environment using:

  • Medical-grade PPE: Masks, hairnets, and nitrile gloves are worn during all handling phases.
  • Sanitization: All equipment, including the high-pressure extraction vessel and 22L preparation pot, is sanitized with 70% Isopropyl alcohol or heat-sterilized before use.
  • Airflow Control: Bottling is performed within a Still Air Box (SAB) to minimize environmental particulates and ensure sample integrity.

3. Concentration & Visual Standards
The deep, opaque mahogany color of our samples is a specific indicator of high polysaccharide density. This is achieved through a 10:1 reduction process, concentrating the 15 PSI aqueous extract into a high-viscosity format. This is not the result of thermal degradation, but rather the density of the released beta-glucans and PSK/PSP compounds.

4. Batch Tracking
Each 50ml amber bottle is assigned a batch number (e.g., Batch #002), allowing researchers to reference specific extraction dates and pressure parameters.
